January - "Veronica learns that a three day trip to Disneyland is not one of her brightest ideas" Dad turned 51, I turned 24 and my little sister turned 9. To celebrate my whole family went to Disneyland for three days. So exhausting!
February - "Valentines?" Very slow month. This is also the month that John's X-Box 360 breaks for the first time. Saddest days of our lives!
March - "Happy Birthday to my Hubby" This month is a big month for John. He turned the big two five (25). We went down to Los Angeles and saw Dropkick Murphys perform. I was in my first mosh pit. I should say I almost got killed. And he got his first tattoo. Great Month!
April - "Veronica realizes she is stuck forever" This is the month that my company recognized me and awarded me with a "cool" pencil holder and on it was engraved "Thank you for your commitment. This is awarded to you for completing FIVE years with our company." DREAM BIG!!
May - "Happy 2 Year Anniversary" This is the month that we had decided to go to L.A. to see wicked but never got around to it because...... we sold the home we had currently been living in and needed to move out coincidentally the weekend of our anniversary. Bringing us to....... this is the month that we also moved in with my parents while we searched for a house to buy.
June - "House Hunters on the prowl" This is the month we saw so much of our realtor we tought he was part of our family. We felt so discouraged after the 56th house we looked at and it wasn't what we wanted. We rested for a week bringing us into
July - "The American Dream" This is the month when we became proud owners of a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Also the month we realize we would be in dept for the rest of our lives. John also learned that going to Las Vegas and coming home early in the morning and moving in to a home was maybe not the brightest idea he's ever had.
August - "School is Cool Painting Not So Much" This is the month I decided to go back to school. After taking some much needed time to realize what I wanted to do with my life. Also the month we took on painting. My family hated me this month. I put them all to work.
September - "The Month of Lots of Firsts" This is the month I realized why I hated school. Also the month we went to the Big Apple. I want to move to New York City! First time on a plane. First time I saw Wicked. First time seeing the Statue of Liberty. First time being in a subway. I also saw one of the wonders of the world. And who could forget our first mortgage payment.
October - "Trick or Treat" This is the first time I went to Pennsylvania to see our family. Also the month that I went to work dressed up as a zombie slashed by the throat. Very gory thanks to my husband.
November - "Party at My House" This month we had our very first Thanksgiving at our house. Both of our families were in attendance bringing the guest total to 23. So proud of us. Also the month John decided to come shopping with me on "Black Friday" I'm not sure if he'll be joining me next year.
December - "The year we didn't have a Christmas Tree" This month was freezing cold. I call 32 degrees freezing. John and I walked down Christmas Tree Lane to start the Holidays. We had the normal partys to attend and family to see. This year we decided not to put up a Christmas Tree since we were spending it at my parent's house. Will I regret it? I already do! We also went to Knott's Berry Farm and ended up making New Years Resolutions. We never keep them but it's fun to try.
