New York

Ground Zero was so sad. Despite the years that have gone by, the sight of it all is overwhelming. It is unbelievable to think of what all those people went through. I stood there looking at this big hole in the middle of the city. A big construction site! How can any body have closure? We went two weeks after September 11th, and there was flowers, cards, and pictures from love ones. We also had the opportunity to visit NYFD Station 10. Station 10 is located right across from ground zero. They lost men and had a memorial set up for them inside the station. So sad!

After, we walked over to the David Letterman Show. Sarah and Scott had tickets for that night. While waiting outside we got to see some celebrities. John and I ended up going to the Colbert Report on the Comedy Channel it was so funny. It is so cool to see the behind the scenes. Later that night we all met for dinner. We went to "Little Italy". You can't go wrong with any restaurant in that area. We ended up at Vincent's, their Chicken Alfredo was to die for. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the people there were so nice.

The next day John and I had the oppurtunity to see Wicked! It was a once in a lifetime experience to see a Broadway Show in New York.
