If you give Olivia...

If you give Olivia a backpack, she will stand there say "Cheese" and say "Go." At 18months, she is ready for school. She likes to think she is. Maybe Preschool in 6 more months. But for now she wears her backpack to grandma's house and as soon as she gets to the walkway she says "Go, Bye Bye" "Later, mama" so sad.

If you give Olivia an Elmo doll she will make it sit next to her. I'm not sure where her fascination with Elmo came from but she loves him. We never watched Sesame Street before but now it's all she wants. She could be talking normal and as soon as she sees Elmo, she gets this high pitched voice and says ELMO, really loud. My mom and sister took her to see Elmo Live and they said she didn't even want to turn to them for a picture. This girl is serious when she is at a concert of any sort.
If you give Olivia two binkis, she will want to suck on both at the same time. To take away the binki or not? That is the question around here these days. At 18 months this is the only thing that soothes her. She loves it and I love it, especially in car rides.

If you leave Olivia alone for a minute, she will drink your coffee. At 18 months she is a coffee drinker. Hahaha! Not intetionally but she always manages to find my coffee cup and drink the leftover coffee. She loves it. Doesn't even spill a drop.

If you give Olivia a pedicure she will want to pick her color of nail polish. She picks out the color of nail polish and will sit for me till I'm done polishing her nails.

If you let Olivia pick out her clothes for the day, she will choose no pants, her ugg boots, pj top and reindeer antlers.
If you give Oliva a broom, she will clean. She is mommy's little helper. She likes to sweep our floors. Takes her diapers to the trashcan and helps empty out the dishwasher. She helps us bring in groceries from the car and can clean any table if you give her a napkin.

If you give Olivia some music, she will dance. This girl has moves. Spanish music is the best. It amazes me that she can keep up with the rythmn. Ballett classes here we come. Can't wait.

Lately our favorite book is "If you give a pig a pancake" by Laura Numeroff.
