Newport Beach

This years firefighter Olympics were held in Newport Beach. As soon as I heard were they were going to be I jumped on it right away making it a weeks worth vacation for our family. John was on the Fresno Fire softball team. Although we were there for that reason I didn't get one picture of any of their games.

Our first day there supporting daddy. He hurt his back and neck and wasn't able to do much but hitting. But we still cheered for Fresno. They ended up coming in third with a bronze medal.

We wasted no time heading to the beach trying to relax. I have to say that it was very hectic with a baby in tow. I try to minimize and pack only the necessary and still my car looked ridiculous like we were leaving for a month.

Olive loved the sand. She ate it, crawled on it. She wasn't a fan of the cold water. So every time the waves came in she would cry and reach out for us.

We had gorgeous weather all week long. I loved wearing sweaters at night and shorts during the day.

The Osuna's stayed with us. Rick was on the soccer team. We had a good time with them.

Becca and I cheering for Fresno Fire!

Corrie another cheerleader!

Robert was part of the fire wives club :)
