At two months my baby weighs 9 lbs 14oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. She is one happy baby. She loves to smile. At her two month appointment her pediatrician found something wrong with her eyes so he sent us to an eye specialist. Their we found out that she had red eye reflux. With more testing and the way they explained it to us is that she very nearsighted. Most babies are nearsighted and they normally calculated on a scale. 0 being perfect -2 being farsighted and a +2 being nearsighted which is what most babies are at. Well our little Olivia is at a +5. We have another appointment in February to see if her eyesight has improved or worsen and then we will talk about what to do. In the meantime this girl doesn't seem to be affected by it. We've been working with her on tracking. We play where's Mommy. We talk to her from different direction and she can follow us no problems. So hopefully her eyesight was just slow in developing and she won't need glasses or surgery.
