March 10th - Had our first appointment and also our first ultrasound. We got to see your little heartbeat. Your dad almost passed out when he saw it. You looked like a little peanut.
April 6th - At this appointment both your daddy and I were really nervous. We knew you were there but wanted some type of confirmation that you were real. I haven't had any symptoms to confirm I was pregnant and you're so tiny right now that I can't feel you....so when we went to the doctor we wanted more. We were able to hear your heartbeat. It was fast and healthy and that's all we needed. It made you that much more real.
April 7th - Oh baby you are going to have so many people that care and love you. Today we told all our family and friends. Everyone is so excited and we can't wait to meet you.
April 8th - Today we went to see an ultrasound Specialist. They wanted to run some genetic test. We got pictures of you and can now see your profile clearly. You look like a baby. The first thing we were able to see was your nose. That means you are definitely going to have your dad's nose. While there your dad asked if she could tell if you were a boy or a girl and she said It's a GIRL! I started to cry because I was so excited and your dad could not be more happy. You are definitely going to be daddy's little girl. We are so happy that your are going to be a part of our little family.
May 7th - Was our 5 year anniversary. We realized that this will be our last one as a family of two.
May 17th - Had another ultrasound appointment where the confirmed you were a girl and they gave us more pictures of your cute profile. Tossing around a lot of names and your dad and I can't decide what to name you.
May 19th - Felt a couple flutters for the first time. I was so excited I woke up your dad at work to tell him.
May 30th - We were sitting on the couch and your dad decided to put his head on my belly and for the first time he felt you. You moved around always mostly around lunch and at night time. So happy I can feel you.
I'm not a fan of the belly pictures or the profile side belly shot. But for the purpose of keeping this journal I will post.
