Firefighter for a day!

So this Friday I had the opportunity to participate in Firefigther for a day. My husband encouraged me to do it and although I had my reservations about it, I surprised myself. I had a great time.

Our itinerary consisted of, auto extrication, fire behavior, repelling and search and rescue. I faced some of my fears and got to hang out with a great group of friends. All in all, it was a great day....now the day after, not so great. I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a bus. Two days later ...and I'm still sore.
